This 513 hectare lake can be said as Lake Toba version of Flores. The water of this lake looks green so it presents a very soothing view of the eye. Sano Nggoang Lake is located in Wae Sano Village, Kec. Sano Nggoang, West Manggarai District, NTT.
The depth of the lake is about 600 meters and that makes this lake quite unique is that there is a sulfur content in it.
